The next meeting of the Smiles Within A Village Happiness Club in Shelton will feature a presentation by Bernie Kettle, an inspirational speaker and owner of Soulful Connection. He will speak about "Four Powerful Steps to Lasting Success: Finding Happiness While On the Journey."

Meetings of the Smiles Within A Village Happiness Club, are held on the 3rd Wednesday of every month at Crosby Commons. Meetings are free and open to the public. Learn to See the World

Wednesday, October 26, 2011, 3 pm

Location: Crosby Commons at Wesley Village, 580 Long Hill Avenue, Shelton.

The next meeting of the low vision support group in Shelton - Learn to See the World - is scheduled for Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at 3 pm at Light refreshments will be served.

The meeting is free and open to the public. Individuals with low vision or are legally blind are encouraged to attend for fellowship and support. Discussion topics and information sharing for this month’s meeting will include providing information on services and benefits provided through the State of Connecticut. Other resources such as free services provided by the Connecticut Radio Information System (CRIS Radio) will be available.

Life After Loss

Meetings of Life After Loss will be held each Monday from 6:00 pm - 7:15 pm at the Bishop Wicke Health Center Solarium, 584 Long Hill Avenue, Shelton.

The meetings are free and open to anyone who is dealing with loss. The facilitator will be Jim Stinson, Director of Spiritual Life at United Methodist Homes. Pre-registration is not required. Please call 203-929-2787 with any questions.
